Is my donation tax deductible?

CJSR is operated by the First Alberta Campus Radio Association. Tax receipting is handled through our donation platform when you give.

What is the breakdown of how donations funds are spent?

Altogether, CJSR’s money goes to the most staid, normal operating expenses you can think of. But they’re costs we have to pay and that’s why we reach out and ask our listeners for their support.

Can I give monthly instead?

Yes, and it is the version that helps most. A monthly gift is the only kind of revenue we can plan a year around.

All money raised goes not only towards keeping our station running, but also towards improving it.

How it works

A week of supporting independent radio in Edmonton

Call for donations
All week long, between songs and in their own words, each host will be asking listeners for donations. We will keep you updated on how much we have raised!
Daily giveaways
Each day of the 9 day FunDrive, we have a number of prizes for our donors. Everyone who donates on a specific day is eligible for the draws that day. Thanks to local businesses who contribute gift cards, eats, drinks, activities and more.
FunDrive Events
A variety of events are planned to mark the annual fundraiser. These events range from live shows, movie screenings to dance parties and more.
