Become CJSR’s Community Outreach Assistant this summer!
The Community Outreach Assistant will plan out CJSR’s involvement (including information tables and/or live broadcasts) in local festivals, concerts, and other arts and cultural events. Potential events include Aboriginal Day, Heart of the City, CariWest, Edmonton Pride, the Edmonton Folk Music Festival, the Fringe, Farmers Markets, and Art Walk. They will also increase station profile and event awareness via station social media (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, etc), and support CJSR’s community relations committee.
Terms of the position:
- 30 hours a week
- May 22, 2019 – Aug 21, 2019
- $15.51/hour

Funding for these positions is supported by Canada Summer Jobs Program. You must be a full-time post secondary student during the preceding academic year between 15 and 30 (though not enrolled in full-time studies during the summer session) and have the intention of returning to school full-time in the fall. Proof of enrollment for fall term is required. International students unfortunately do not qualify under this funding program.
