Across the schedule special programming is planned for the whole Poetry Month (April 2026).

It’s in support of The Edmonton Poetry Festival.

You’ll hear CJSR folk reciting their very own haikus heard throughout the programming schedule.

Want to submit your own haiku to air on CJSR?

• • STEP 1: Write a haiku – it can be silly, weird, serious, earnest, thoughtful, whatever (more info & examples)

• • STEP 2: Using the “voice memo” on your phone record yourself by saying:
    • your name
    • how long you’ve been listening to CJSR
    • recite your haiku

• • STEP 3: Email the audio file (it does NOT have to be perfect!) to info@cjsr.com
    We’ll edit it for broadcast to remove “ums” and “uhs” etc. and put it into rotation throughout the month
