Canada Summer Jobs 

You must be between 15-30 years of age at the start of the employment. International students do not qualify under this funding program. 

• 4 positions made possible through Service Canada funding:
  • Production Assistant
  • Assistant Music Librarian
  • Festival & Outreach Coordinator
  • Promotions Coordinator

Hours: 30 hour / week (in-person)
Salary: $18 / hour
Employment term: May 18-August 21, 2026 

Local Journalism Initiative

• News Director
  An editorial spoken word leader to join our team, who is adept at building relationships, guiding volunteers and has sharp programming skills, exceptional news judgement and an audience growth mindset.

Hours: 40 hour / week (in-person)
Salary: starting at $55,000 + benefits
Vacation: 3 weeks vacation + 1 paid week off between Christmas and New Years
Employment term: May 2026-April 2027 with possibility of extension dependent on funding
