CJSR Picks Up National Awards

| & filed under awesome, News.

CJSR had a great week at the 35th NCRC (National Campus and Community Radio Conference), hosted brilliantly by our friends at CHUO 89.1 FM in Ottawa.

We were delighted and humbled to win two awards for some of our radio work in the past year, including one in the category of “Sports Talk Show Programming” for Karly Coleman’s Bike Bits segment on Peter Chapman’s Full English Breakfast!

As well, Chris Chang-Yen Phillips, Joe Hartfeil and Sara Khembo Alfazema walked away with a “Special Programming” plaque for their two-part Boot Camp Poets documentary on All That Matters.

Thanks to the NCRA, CHUO 89.1 FM, our hard-working volunteers, and all of you at home for listening and supporting community radio.
