Matthew Gooding CJSR Music Librarian Host of Catalog Jam (Tuesdays at 12-1pm) CJSR Volunteer

• Cassia Hardy | In Relation
Cassia is a stunning and unparalleled musician. The songs are inventive and satisfying and you can feel the tension in the performance when you listen. She also really knows how to pair a word and a note. I will still be listening to this album years from now, I know it

• Gelli Haha | Switcheroo
Bouncy, energetic, fun, well-produced electronic music

• Oneohtrix Point Never | Tranquilizer
Is it as good as his previous albums? Yes! Inventive and immersive synthetic soundscapes. Interesting enough to think about if you want to or you can just let it set you down in a very pleasant place

• Geese | Getting Killed
Wackily cool music by a weirdo savant

• Alix Ferns | Symphonie publicitaire sous influence
It’s strange! But I think it would go over well at a party. Cool for bobbing to

Chad Burnet Host of It Could Be Worse (Mondays at 7-9am) CJSR Volunteer

• Wednesday | Bleeds
Can’t get enough of this one. ’90s guitars, great lyrics, “i hate it here/i love it here”

• Momma | Welcome To My Blue Sky
Yep, I love my ’90s alt rock. Thrilling, dreamy, aching. DJ Alice says “That’s my album.”

• Jimmie Kilpatrick | Jimmie
Jimmie just doesn’t miss. Yeah, there’s crunchy guitars sometimes, but also deceptively plainspoken poetry that cuts right to the heart. Love this man!

• Jeff Tweedy | Twilight Override
What a gift! Tweedy has been on a roll for the last few years, between releases with Wilco, solo albums, and writing books(!) but somehow has only gotten sharper.

• The Burning Hell | Ghost Palace
RIYL lots of lyrics. Clever, charming, beautiful stories to delight and break your heart.
